The third annual series of free one-day decking seminars organised by American Softwoods in conjunction with the Timber Decking Association will hit the road in the new year.
Aimed at architects, landscape designers, deck installers, timber merchants and builders, they will focus on aspects including design, site considerations, building regulations and timber treatment.
American Softwoods European marketing director Eddie Pearce said: “It is essential that everyone involved in the industry, especially newcomers, are aware of the quality standards relating to timber, deck design and the use and performance of timber outdoors.”
The seminars will take place in Chester on January 26; Taunton on February 9; St Leonards, near Ringwood on March 3; and Lincoln on March 9.
