Target Timber Systems has moved to a larger factory in Wales to cope with increasing demand.
The company, set up in 2005 by former Alpha Timber Frame boss Nick Whittle, has moved from two separate 10,000ft² units in Abertillery to a single 30,000ft² factory in Ebbw Vale. The additional space allows Target to factory fix Kingspan PU insulation between studs and factory fix double-glazed windows.
The facility also gives space for the company to move into SIPs – Target will process Kingspan TEK raw SIP panels into finished building panels.
“We are just so busy, we could not cope with the workload in our last factories, so we had no option to go to a larger factory,” said Mr Whittle.
