The most southerly building in the UK, a Cornish YMCA hostel, has been fitted with new timber windows.

The National Trust building, a former hotel situated next to the lighthouse at The Lizard, has had sliding sash timber box frames and double glazed units with narrow sightlines installed.

The windows, supplied by British Woodworking Federation member Devoran Joinery Ltd of Truro, feature treated softwood with hardwood cills, weatherstrips using the Mighton parting bead and Schnegal Aquamac and double-glazing using the company’s finebar system.
