The event is to be held on May 1 at the Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre in London, and is aimed at architects, engineers, contractors, architectural technologists and surveyors. An exhibition showcasing timber and timber-based products and services will be run in conjunction.
The programme comprises seminars and case studies, such as the Savill Building at Windsor Great Park and work at Cambridge University, followed by six seminars on aspects of timber in construction. Speakers include TRADA specialists and representatives of the Glenn Howells, Mole and Edward Cullinan architectural firms, and principals in Bryden Wood Associates, Architype and Eurban.
The main sponsors are Vincent Timber, Proctor, Norbord, AHEC, Timbmet Silverman and Finnforest.
The cost is £120 plus VAT before March 30 for TRADA members, rising to £140 until May 1; and £150 plus VAT, rising to £170 for non-members.
