The centre, located at the company’s Chemlsford branch, has working displays and demonstrations of renewable energy sources, including solar, ground source and air source systems.

“The desire to use eco-friendly building products is huge, both from builders and end users,” said Jez Cutler, Travis Perkins’ group environmental manager. “However, as with any new technology, the trade needs advice on how to correctly specify and install the product to ensure that targets of lower CO2 emissions and energy bills are achieved.”
