The TTJ Awards 2025 is now just a week away!
The annual event, now in its 29th year, will bring together a wide section of the timber industries to reward excellence and achievement at the Hilton London Bankside on September 19.
It is held by the Timber Trades Journal (TTJ) – the leading wood sector industry publication established in 1873.
“We’re looking forward to this year’s TTJ Awards, seeing merchants, importers, sawmillers, distributors and manufacturers coming together,” said TTJ editor Stephen Powney.
“It’s hugely important to recognise companies for their hard work and give industry customers an opportunity to give feedback on the supply chain – that’s what the TTJ Awards has always sought to provide. This is such a fantastic industry, amazing people and such an incredible natural material at the heart of it. The Awards will be a celebration of all that is good in the sector.”
Guest speaker and host this year is broadacaster Justin Webb, who is a presenter on the Today programme. There will also be a feature on the Women in Timber initiative.
Headline sponsor is Epicor, a leading software supplier, while Timber Development UK (TDUK) is the Gold Award sponsor and main industry association backing the event.
One of the highlights is always the fantastic wooden trophies – produced again this year in the Nottingham base of SCM UK, with timber supplied by English Woodlands Timber of Cocking, West Sussex.
The TTJ Awards is a lunchtime event, held at the Hilton London Bankside in the popular South Bank area, close to the Tate Modern.
