Customer service and product developments have helped W Howard Ltd celebrate its 50th year in business, national sales manager Ced Piper said.
The MDF mouldings manufacturer, which produces the Primer Mould range, achieved a score of 98.5% for complete and on-time deliveries during 2007 according to Mr Piper, who added that the company had “achieved 100% success for 14 out of 15 weeks leading up to Christmas”.
This was supplemented by the addition of new products such as skirtings and architraves that took W Howard’s core range from 121 to 137 products.
“It is further testimony to the company’s mission to be the construction industry’s preferred partner for MDF profiles and another step towards its vision of seeing Primer Mould in every home,” said Mr Piper.
“The last 12 months have really set the scene for our 50th.”
W Howard added that it is planning further developments in 2008 and expects to achieve ISO14001 and OHSA18001 accreditation by the end of March, as well as adding to its sales team.
