Jewson supplied 200 sheets of the Norbord product for the project in Carmarthen, which is used by Carmarthen Athletic Club and Llanelli Rugby Club, in order to prevent players from running into the steel beams of the structure.

“We felt Norbord’s Sterling OSB3 would be the most suitable product,” said Gary Coleman, branch manager at Jewson’s Carmarthen store. “The alternatives were chipboard, which would break easily, and plywood, which would have been more expensive.”

The JOSB Done campaign, the industry-wide initiative to promote the uses of OSB, was recently revamped, with scantily-clad women, a goldfish bowl and the slogan “tough b***d” forming part of the launch.
