The Old Willow Works in Beckingham, north Nottinghamshire, played a major role in the local willowcraft industry from the mid-1800s to the mid-1900s before falling into disrepair.
Now many local companies, including the John Brash Group, have rallied round to save the building by turning it into office space.
John Brash has supplied timber for the reconstruction of the ceiling joists along the whole of the building.
“The Old Willow Works is an important historical Landmark for the village of Beckingham,” said Christian Brash, managing director at John Brash.
And Willow Works project manager Colin Gibson added: “Without their speedy response it is doubtful that the project would have been completed within the projected time frame and allocated budget.”
The first phase of the project is now complete and the second phase will start on completion of a feasibility report.
