Paloheimo, the Finnish timber, windows, flooring and furnishing systems group, is to wind down its parquet industry business Paloheimo Parquets.
The group has been attempting to sell the loss-making company but without success. Paloheimo Parquets, which reported an annual turnover of FMk175m in 2000, employs 200 people in Finland and France.
