A residential development in Milford Haven, in Wales has featured the use of engineered beams from Wolf Systems.
The design of the apartment block, built by specialist timber frame manufacturer Firwood Homes, included easi-joist floors on two upper levels, as well as an easi-joist deck to a large area of flat roof over the penthouses.
“We offer easi-joist as an option for most of our contracts and rally there would have been no alternative for this project due to the length of the spans,” said Mike Edds of Firwood Homes.
“They are consistent, light in weight for site installation and they offer plenty of space for fixing and routing services.”
