The Waste Resources Action Programme (WRAP) is reviewing market price information in the UK recycling sector.
The project, being undertaken by consultants Deloitte & Touche, aims to find out the quantity, quality and availability of price information for wood and other materials in the UK recycling market.
It will also establish the status of price information in other linked markets, such as virgin commodities, and try to understand the requirements of those who operate in the industry.
Groups being contacted include information sources/data compilers, brokers, waste producers, waste collectors, local authorities, waste reprocessors and recyclate purchasers.
