100% Detail features wood focus
29 August 2006A new feature area at this September's 100% Detail 2006 at Earls Cout will focus on traditional and contemporary wood products.
100% Materials: Wood is designed to inspire architects and desitners to specify wood in new applications.
Created by producted designer Chris Lefteri, the area is sponsored by Wood for Good, The American Hardwood Export Council and International Timber, supported by the Malaysian Timber Council, The Timber Trade Federation and TRADA.
Wood samples available are intended to be handled by visitors and each one will be labelled detailing its origin, key features, applications, sustainability, availability, cost and supplier details.
Information on moreo than 150 wood products, from super-light wood construction to ultra dense engineered woods, will be available.
