Acc-oléd for modified wood
15 July 2014Accoya modified wood has been used in several public building projects in Spain.
The Maritime Harbour Office in Vilanova de Arounsa was vertically clad with Accoya to create the appearance of a wooden box, while in Valencia Accoya slats were used for a school extension, said manufacturer Accsys Technologies.
"Accoya is increasingly the material of choice in a warm, dry and UV-intensive climate, as well as in areas exposed to extreme moisture," said Accsys director of sales and marketing Bryan Crennell.
