Accoya launches into Austria

Titan Wood, manufacturer of Accoya, is continuing its European expansion with the appointment of Coorplan to take the modified wood brand into Austria.

It marks the latest market development for Titan Wood, which has already established distribution in the UK, Netherlands, Scandinavia and Germany.

Based in Vorarlberg, the westernmost federal state of Austria, Coorplan is a 50-year-old joinery business making high quality doors, windows and furniture.

Director Arnold Jenni said Accoya fitted “perfectly” into its product range. “It is a high quality, long-lasting product that is suitable for a wide range of applications,” he said.

Victor Vos, head of sales at Titan Wood, said: “Coorplan is well placed to exploit the potential demand for Accoya Wood in Austria for windows, doors, decking and cladding.”
