BWF Award open for entries

14 September 2011

Joinery companies can now enter the British Woodworking Federation’s (BWF) John Hedgecock Memorial Award 2011.

The award provides the opportunity to recognise exceptional technical excellence, achievement or innovation in joinery manufacture and is open to companies and individuals from both the BWF membership and the wider industry.

Last year’s inaugural award, created in memory of former BWF technical director John Hedgecock, was won by Welland Timber Products Ltd for its role in the restoration of Horace Walpole’s Villa in Strawberry Hill, Twickenham.

The deadline for entries is October 21, with the winner announced at the BWF annual dinner at the Waldorf Hotel on November 18.
