BWF PR an Ecobuild top 100 tweeter
14 December 2012British Woodworking Federation marketing adviser Liz Male has been named one of the top 100 influencers of construction, design and the built environment by sustainable construction show Ecobuild.
The @Ecobuild100 campaign reached over 2.5 million people in the building sector, asking for their nominees for the accolade and ending up with 286 from 1,800 respondents.
Among the other top 100 "influencers" are Tory environmentalist MP Zac Goldsmith and leading environmental writer, journalist and campaigner George Monbiot.
"Twitter for me is not about celebrity tweets, it's about sharing knowledge and building relationships that I can follow up face-to-face," said Ms Male. "Social media is an essential part of the business-to-business communication toolkit these days."
