Coillte scoops European business prize
10 July 2013Coillte was Ireland’s only winner at the European Business Awards, with the company scooping the Environment and Corporate Sustainability prize.
Acting CEO Gerry Britchfield said the company was delighted to be recognised by a high-calibre judging panel and come out top against a diverse range of companies.
The Environment and Corporate Sustainability prize is awarded to companies that have succeeded at defining a progressive, global green economy that is sustainable for the future for all business.
“We believe that the award will assist Coillte in further developing on the European stage and indeed the world markets in which they successfully operate,” said Jim Mulqueen, managing partner of sponsor RSM Farrell Grant Sparks.
