Covers Alresford donates materials and sponsors golfers
26 February 2019Covers Alresford has donated materials to Sun Hill Junior School to help convert a previously unusable area of space into a picnic terrace.
The timber and builders’ merchant delivered items to the school, including artificial grass, helping it to create a new all-year-round useable space complete with picnic tables.
“It’s a pleasure to help Sun Hill Junior School with this project,” said Michael Sheath, depot manager at Covers Alresford. “We hope the teachers and pupils enjoy their new picnic area for many years to come.”
Meanwhile, the branch has also agreed a sponsorship deal to kit out Hampshire Junior Golfers from the under-14 to under-18 age groups. The sponsorship includes funding a short break abroad for the club’s winter training.
