Defra hosts EUTR/FLEGT stakeholder event
20 March 2014An EU Timber Regulation/Forest Law, Enforcement, Governance and Trade stakeholder event will be held at Defra in London on March 27.
Timber Trade Federation head of sustainability Anand Punja will give an update on how the trade has adapted to the new legislation and the challenges that lie ahead.
He is looking for trade feedback on the subject to help build his presentation, as well as identifying continuing challenges of the EUTR in the day-to-day running of a timber business. Responses need to be sent to Mr Punja by Monday, March 24 to apunja@ttf.co.uk.
