DTE appoints new general managers for Ilkeston

Donaldson Timber Engineering has announced a new management structure for its Ilkeston branch, with the appointment of Oli James as general manager (roofs) and the promotion of Luke Roberts to general manager (floors).

Mr James has worked in the industry for 20 years. He joins DTE from SIG plc (Roofing & Roofline Division) where he was field sales manager, and prior to this he spent nine years working as a branch manager for Palgrave Brown.

A highly regarded member of the DTE workforce, Mr Roberts has worked at DTE for three years as I-joist manager and was recently promoted to DTE floors manager. He is also very experienced in the industry and worked for Cox Long before joining DTE.

“As it is our largest branch, we decided Ilkeston would benefit from having two branch managers to focus on specific parts of the business,” said DTE managing director Jonathan Fellingham.
