EH Smith campaign wins marketing award

Builders merchant group EH Smith has picked up an award at the Construction Marketing Awards for its Proper Builders campaign.

About 250 guests at the Radisson Blu, Portman Hotel in London saw EH Smith and its marketing agency MRA Associates collect the award in the strategic planning and management category on December 5.

The award recognised the campaign’s success in positioning EH Smith on the side of small, independent builders and other trades. The merchant has reported a 38% increase in product range purchased by this target group.

Meanwhile, joinery manufacturer JELD-WEN and its marketing/advertising agency Jaywing won best campaign over £25,000 and JELD-WEN was also highly commended in the best use of website category.
