Ejoinery starts online window operation

15 September 2008

Ejoinery has launched an online window business with a turnover target of £1m a year.

The Coleshill-based company already enjoys an annual turnover of £1.5m through its online doors business, set up just two years ago, but sees great potential in replicating its success in window products.

Dealing exclusively with JELD-WEN products, ejoinery promises customers a quick internet service where they can see sizes and prices of products together.

“The joinery sector is quite traditonal,” said managing director Duncan Williams, who used to work for JELD-WEN. “But with the rise of the internet and people starting to trade online, it’s now enveloped the joinery industry as well.”

“We keep it very simple. There are three steps and then people can see the prices.”
