Engineered timber seminars

21 September 2012

The Timber Trades Federation (TTF) engineered timber forum is to run a series of free seminars for architects, engineers and other construction professionals.

The series begins October 4 and will be half day events covering subjects such as CLT glulam, SIPs, roof, floor and trussed rafter systems, timber frame and woodworking in construction.

Each event will feature speakers from architecture, engineering and from manuifacturers of engineered timber products.

TTF spokesman Stuart Harker said: “Engineered structural timber products are driving new possibilities, yet for the market to take off we need greater knowledge and acceptance from the specifier community.”
