Family success at UKFPA golf day

Members of the Southern & Western England Regional Group of the UK Forest Products Association (UKFPA) and guests participated in the Annual Golf Day at the Forest of Dean Golf Club at Coleford on September 24. The social event was held in conjunction with a meeting of the UKFPA Regional Group, where a range of topical matters were discussed.

Robert Freeman, of Forest Products Ltd, won the competition, for the second year running and was presented with the Osmose Shield by Phil Emsley of Osmose UK. Robert’s father, John Freeman, took second place, while runners-up were Phil Emsley, Bill Lander and Neil Chislett.

“Members and guests enjoyed another successful event and we are very grateful to Osmose UK for its continued and generous sponsorship of the golf day,” said Martin Bishop of AJ Charlton & Sons Ltd, who is chairman of the UKFPA Southern & Western England Regional Group.
