Final chance to vote in UK’s TTJ timber industry awards

9 June 2023

Who is going to be crowned this year’s TTJ Awards’ Timber Trader of the Year 2023?

Voting in this year’s TTJ Awards – the annual search for the best-performing UK timber industry companies – is now into its final two weeks and will be drawing to a close on June 19.

The Awards – to be held at the Hilton London Bankside on September 15 – will also be celebrating the 150th anniversary of TTJ.

The Timber Trader of the Year category, sponsored by Timber Development UK (TDUK), is awarded to the best all-rounder in the trade which supplies a full range of timber products to timber buyers.

Typically, the winner needs to exhibit good levels of customer service, value for money, excellent delivery service, product range and quality of products.

“Votes have been streaming in and it will soon be the last chance for timber sector customers to vote for their best-performing suppliers in this year’s Awards,” said TTJ editor Stephen Powney.

“The big question is who is going to win the coveted Timber Trader of the Year in the 150th anniversary year of TTJ? If you’re a timber company, have your customers voted for you and given their seal of approval?”

Buyers of wood products, such as builders, merchants, wood product manufacturers and architects, can nominate their best performing suppliers in an online voting portal at VOTING.

Voters can also nominate companies in the following categories: Panel Products, Softwood (Sawmiller), Softwood (Importer), Hardwood, Joinery, Structural Timber Systems, Merchanting and Garden Products.

Companies also enter Judged Categories covering marketing, merchanting development, innovation, career development and environmental achievement, with the deadline being June 30.
