Finewood makes management changes
3 February 2014Timber agent Finewood Marketing UK Ltd has appointed Chris Walton as managing director.
Mr Walton, who has been with Finewood for 17 years, succeeds Mike Woodward who has taken on the newly created position of chairman. He will continue to play a full part in the company's ongoing growth.
"This exciting change in leadership places Finewood Marketing in a strong position of continued success in the future," said Mr Woodward. "Chris has been my friend for more than 30 years, and I am thrilled that he has agreed to this new role."
Prior to joining Finewood, Mr Walton spent over 20 years in senior positions with companies such as Arnold Laver, Rothervale Joinery, John Carr, and Regency Doors.
