Finnforest launches panel for railway interiors

Finnforest has launched the Phoenix plywood panel to provider greater fire protection in the railway industry.

The product, aimed at the railway interiors sector, is a composite panel made of birch plywood, a sound reduction material and an aluminium combination coating.

The PEFC-certified panel, which has been tested to French and Spanish fire standards, is manufactured in 4-45mm thicknesses.

Phoenix will be displayed at the Railway Interiors Expo 2011 in Cologne on November 15-17.
