Finnish Forest Association elects executive director
29 April 2014Anders Portin has been elected as the new executive director of the Finnish Forest Association. He will take up the post on August 1.
Mr Portin is currently a senior consultant for forest policy and forest certification with forest consultancy company Indufor. His previous positions include the Finnish Forest Industries Federation, where he was a director for forest and environment, and head of international forest issues at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
Mr Portin served on the Finnish Forest Association's board from 2006-2010.
The current executive director, Juhani Karvonen, will retire on September 1.
