Forestrall opens second Kent branch

15 December 2015

Independent timber and fencing merchant Forestrall has opened a second branch in Kent

The move by the Bean-based company sees a new branch opening in Gillingham and comes just months after managing director Chris Porcas completed a nine year buy-out of the equity of Forestrall from two retiring directors.

The densely populated Medway towns were seen as a strong growth market for expansion.

Teaming up with a longstanding business contact already based in Gillingham, a business plan was formulated to deliver a depot offering identical products and services to the Bean headquarters.

“Whilst the Bean branch already fares very well serving the Medway towns, customers do not like venturing too far for materials and we felt it important to place ourselves amongst them, but still only twenty minutes travel time from our primary operation,” said Mr Porcas.
