FSC General Assembly to meet in Cape Town

Business, environmental and social leaders will gather for the Forest Stewardship Council General Assembly 2008 in Cape Town on November 3-7.

Topics for discussion will include reviewing the FSC principles and criteria, expanding certification for small-scale forest owners worldwide and the role of FSC certification in combating climate change.

FSC members, certificate holders, retailers and other stakeholders are being invited to make video clips telling their FSC story to be screened during the assembly.
