FSC issues 20,000th chain of custody certificate

The Forest Stewardship Council has issued its 20,000th chain of custody certificate (CoC).

More than 5,000 CoC certificates have been issued in only the last one-and-a-half years, marking what FSC calls a phenomenal growth trend. The 20,000th certificate was issued to a French SIM card manufacturer, which produces cards made from 100% paper.

“There has been a significant increase in the number of FSC CoC certificates in the past years proving that FSC certification has become a driving factor in market success,” the organisation said.
