FSC’s new market newsletter published

The first issue of a new newsletter published by timber certification scheme the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) has been published.

The quarterly bulletin with a market focus will provide information on key highlights in the market for FSC-certified products and how companies are promoting FSC certification.

Its intention is also to provide updates on relevant developments within FSC and feature highlights from a country in every issue, to provide insights on specific markets and celebrate national FSC achievements.

FSC said the newsletter was intended to mark the spectacular growth of its certification scheme which has now issued more than 20,000 chain of custody certificates.

The sixth FSC General Assembly will take place in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia, from June 25 to July 1.
