German approval for Accoya

Accoya wood products have been approved by the German Institute for Quality Assurance and Specifications for window and facades.

RAL certified the modified timber, subject to long-term field tests that have already been successfully completed by the developer of Accoya, Accsys Technologies.

The company said the certification was in addition to industry approval in the Netherlands and North America.
