Grading course demand prompts move to larger venue

TRADA has moved its strength grading courses to a larger venue to meet ongoing demand for qualified graders.

TG1 Visual Strength Grading will now be held at The Horse Trust in Speen, near Princes Risborough, less than three miles from TRADA’s High Wycombe headquarters.

The course, designed to equip delegates to grade softwood to visual strength grades in BS 4978: 2007 Softwood Grades for Structural Use, also now spans five days instead of seven to save companies’ time and money.

Dates for 2011 are January 31-February 4, April 4-8, April 13-17, June 12-16 and September 14-18.

Other courses being run next year include TG2 Visual Strength Grading Refresher Course – Softwood; and TG3 Visual Strength Grading Hardwood.
