Green theme at AHEC event

This year’s American Hardwood Export European Council Convention from October 27-28 will have a strong environmental theme.

Topics covered will include the new EU Timber Regulation, the challenge of certification, meeting the demand for “green” building and the role of timber life cycle analysis.

The event, in Warsaw, will have an audience of European American hardwood importers, including a strong contingent from the UK and Ireland, and their US suppliers.

Speakers will include Cathy Danzer of the Danzer group and leading UK architect Jim Greaves of Hopkins Architects.
