Housebuilding to boost SoundBar

Finnforest UK is to use the Housebuilding 2007 event to showcase its SoundBar engineered timber floor system.

National developer Bloor Homes has recently opted to use the SoundBar system throughout all of its timber frame flatted developments, leading Finnforest UK to say that the product is “establishing itself as the housebuilder’s flooring system of choice”.

As such, Finnforest UK is hoping that the presence of SoundBar at Housebuilding 2007 will further the product’s growth into the construction sector.

“Its acoustic performance makes it ideal for social housing, high density schemes, flatted developments as well as things such as student accommodation,” said Kevin Riley, head of building solutions at Finnforest UK.

Housebuilding 2007 is returning for the fourth year and is to take place at the Business Design Centre in London, October 9-10.
