James Jones sends 1 million lineal metres of JJI-Joists to Australia
13 October 2022James Jones & Sons Timber Systems Division began exporting its JJI-Joists to Dindas Australia Pty Ltd, a leading distributor of wood products, back in December of last year and this week the milestone of the millionth lineal metre of JJI-Joists was achieved.
“Growing our international distribution network of our JJI-Joists is a big factor in our plans and our new partnership with Dindas Australia has facilitated this,” said Angus Macfarlane, general manager of James Jones & Sons Timber Systems Division. “James Jones & Sons and Dindas Australia share many synergies and we are excited to grow our plans in parallel with further production for increased demand in the UK and Europe.”
“For over 60 years, the Dindas name and brand, have been associated with leading the way in the engineered wood products sector in Australia,” said John Cannard, Dindas Australia’s chief operating officer.
“To continually achieve this, we must partner with manufacturing companies that share similar core values,” he continued. “When the opportunity came along to partner with James Jones & Sons, a clear leader in the engineered wood products in Scotland, and a five-generation family-owned business, we were very sure that our values aligned. Now 10 months on, we have just received our one millionth linear metre of the James Jones I-Beam product and we couldn’t be more excited.
