JELD-WEN has boosted its customer service offering with the appointment of three new staff members and an internal promotion.

Paul Clemmens has joined the business as sales office manager, heading the customer services team at the Sheffield doors factory. Mr Clemmens, who has 14 years' experience in customer service, will manage JELD-WEN's customer service function, including complaints and order processing.

JELD-WEN's service to the merchant trade is demonstrated with the addition of a dedicated merchant marketing manager, Kate Painter. Following six years working for a disabled bathroom manufacturer, Ms Painter will lead the merchant communications, producing marketing plans and supporting the trade.

Elizabeth Owen has joined the marketing team as communications manager. She has nine years' PR experience and will lead on the PR and website content for JELD-WEN UK.

Phil Chimento, who has been with the company for 20 years, has been promoted to co-ordinating general manager at the two Melton Mowbray sites. He will be responsible for the sites' health and safety, quality and environmental and productivity standards.
