Kiln investment increases Vida mill capacity

3 February 2014

Swedish privately-owned sawmiller Vida is investing SKr15m in additional drying capacity at its Hästveda sawmill.

The move will enable the mill's annual sawn timber capacity to increase by 50,000m3. The new kiln will be operational by September.

The Hästveda mill produces spruce construction timber, with Holland being its main market.

Last year Vida reported higher profits for the first half of 2013.
