Lathams’ chairman in hospital following accident

The notification has been issued to the London Stock Exchange, posted on the Lathams website and sent to customers and suppliers.

"The board and employees of the company are thinking of Peter and his family and wish him a speedy recovery," the statement said.

"As an interim measure, the board has agreed that Meryl Bushell, non-executive director, will perform the role of acting chairman until further notice."
