Lavers adds engineered hardwood to range

24 December 2008

Arnold Laver has reported a number of high quantity sales in its new engineered hardwood product aimed at joinery manufacturers.

Advanced Laver Timber (ALT), a laminated FSC-certified European and Amercian oak product, is the result of a partnership with German engineered hardwood specialist NOKA.

The merchant is stocking the product for the construction of doorframes, stiles, rail sections, windows, handrails, newels and stair strings.

Lavers, which has 13 branches and a £110m annual turnover, said ALT brought a new dimension to the company’s product range.
