Metsä Wood management changes
2 February 2022Metsä Wood has made some changes to its management team.
Henrik Söderström has been appointed Metsä Wood’s senior vice-president, sales and marketing as of February. He will continue as a member of Metsä Wood's management team. Virva Juhola, who has been Metsä Wood's SVP, sales and marketing, since 2018, will start in new role as Metsä Fibre’s SVP, sawn timber production.
Juha Kasslin has been appointed senior vice-president, supply chain management and member of the Metsä Wood's management team as of February 1.
Mr Söderström and Mr Kasslin will report to executive vice-president, Metsä Wood Jaakko Anttila.
Other members of the Metsä Wood's management team are SVP, production Jouni Laakso, managing director, Metsä Wood UK Matti Pajula, CFO Sini Nevalainen and SVP, HR Reetta Lyytikäinen-Isonen.
