MGM signs Donaldson

MGM Timber (Scotland) Ltd has announced the appointment of Andrew Donaldson as commercial manager, with effect from January 5.

Mr Donaldson will be working alongside MGM’s board of directors and will be involved in all areas of the business, including branch improvement, sales and the development of new products and new training initiatives.

Since joining MGM’s parent group, James Donaldson & Sons Ltd, in 2010, Mr Donaldson has undertaken an 18 month management training programme, spending time at each of the group’s subsidiaries: Donaldson Timber Engineering Ltd; James Donaldson Timber Ltd, MGM Timber (Scotland) Ltd and Parker Kislingbury Ltd.

Prior to joining the family firm, he spent four years working at accountancy firm KPMG, where he qualified as a chartered accountant.
