Minister to speak at Timcon AGM in Scotland
31 July 2018Scottish minister Fergus Ewing will give the keynote address at this year's Timcon AGM on September 4.
The event, preceded on September 3 by the Timcon annual dinner, takes place at the Hilton Edinburgh Carlton, Scotland.
As well as the presentation by Mr Ewing, the cabinet secretary for the rural economy and connectivity, Timcon will update on a wood packaging survey and HSE machinery TWG.
The Forestry Commission will give an overview of developments, changes in the packaging waste regulations will be covered by Angus Macpherson of the Environment Exchange and updates will also feature on the Irish timber market and the Eu Brexit WPM project.
European wood packaging body FEFPEB will give an overview of European developments in timber packaging and Deniss Pilcikovs of Kronus will talk about challenges and opportunities for the future for the European wood packaging sector.
