Networking event for timber frame firms
24 November 2006The UK Timber Frame Association (UKTFA) is hosting a free networking event for businesses to discuss how they can tap into the recent boom in the construction sector.
Experts will be on hand at the event to explain what support is available to timber frame companies to grow their businesses, as well as addressing current issues in the industry.
Timber frame construction is the fastest growing building method in the UK, accounting for 20% of all new housing in 2005. The value of timber frame manufacture has risen 12.5% to a new UK high, estimated at £487m last year.
The event, which takes place on November 30 at the Mere Golf and Country Club near Knutsford, will be chaired by David Parker, director and chairman of the UKTFA membership committee.
