New general manager for Ridgeons Forest Products

Jeremy (Jem) Slee has been appointed general manager of the Ridgeon Group’s specialist timber division, RIdgeons Forest Products.

Based at Ridgeons’ timber processing plant in Herringswell, Mr Slee will be instrumental in driving the growth of the Group’s timber division, while expanding relationships with existing clients.

In his new role he is responsible for managing all aspects of the timber operation; from sourcing and importing, to processing and distribution, supplying both Ridgeons’ merchant branches and external customers direct. He is also responsible for leading the Ridgeons’ Forest Products external sales team, which covers a geographical area that stretches from Essex to South Yorkshire.

Mr Slee has a wealth of industry experience, gained working in similar positions for Jewson, B&Q and most recently Taylor Wimpey.
