New technical manager for SmartPly

David Murray has been appointed as technical manager for SmartPly, part of Coillte Panel Products. With a degree in Wood Science & Technology and over 10 years' technical and commercial experience of timber frame and offsite construction, Mr Murray will provide technical support to the sales and marketing team and customers.

Based in Waterford in the Republic of Ireland, Mr Murray’s responsibilities will include new product development. He will also be a key member of the OSB process development team and will report to SmartPly’s operations director Jim McCann. He joins the technical team with quality and environmental manager Anne Lucey and process engineer Michael Nicholl.
