North-east traders help children

27 October 2010

North East timber traders have donated a specially adapted timber playhouse to children at the Percy Hedley Foundation in Forest Hall.

The playhouse, donated by the North East Timber Trade Association (NETTA), features a wider door to allow wheelchair access, which means all children can use it.

Currently, eight children in the early years class regularly use the outdoor area. However, the area is accessible for all the children on the Foundation’s lower school site, so the playhouse is likely to be used by many more children.
