Panel producers converge on Dublin for EPF AGM
8 July 2013Coillte Panel Products hosted the European Panel Federation’s AGM in Dublin on July 3-5.
Irish agriculture minister Tom Hayes addressed 150 delegates at the event, describing how Ireland’s timber and wood products sector was worth €2.2bn, employing almost 12,000 people.
Sponsors of the event included Tricoya Technologies, Siempelkamp, Pöyry, Dieffenbacher, Dynea and Huntsman.
Delegates heard presentations on the economic situation for chipboard, MDF and hardboard in North America, as well as the outlook for hardboard and softboard and the latest on the wood fibre insulation board market.
